Pocket Pup – Virtual Pet Dog (Chrome extension) · Last updated: September 27, 2026

In short: Pocket Pup has no account and no servers. Your pup, its memories, your chat, your mood journal and your photos stay in your browser. The extension doesn’t collect, read or sell your browsing data. If you buy the optional Premium upgrade, the payment is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe.

What the extension stores

Pocket Pup saves the following only on your device, using Chrome’s local extension storage:

This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the extension deletes it. You can also erase it anytime with Settings → Adopt a new pup.

Chat

Your pup’s replies are generated by code that runs inside the extension on your device. Messages are never sent to an AI service or any other server.

Web pages you visit

To show your pup on websites, the extension runs a small script on the pages you open. That script only adds the pup in an isolated overlay at the bottom of the window. It uses the page’s address only to check whether you hid the pup on that site. It does not read, record or transmit page content, form data, your browsing history, or anything you type.

Optional Premium purchases

Premium is sold through ExtensionPay, with payments processed by Stripe. When you buy or restore Premium:

If you never buy Premium, the extension doesn’t contact ExtensionPay with any personal information.

Sharing and selling

We don’t sell, rent or share your data, and we don’t use it for advertising or credit decisions.

Children

Pocket Pup doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases require an adult’s payment method through Stripe.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
